The Atlanta Business Journal was created to assess and supply economic projections that affect the African American consumer and business community. Our objective is to profile successful entrepreneurs and recount their struggles to become successful role models.
Education of our youth should become our number one objective. Without things to do or keep them occupied this creates room for chaos and non productivity. Our churches and school buildings remain unoccupied during the summer and recreation centers become their hangouts. We have to change that picture. Ministers must take on another challenge dealing with the youth as their number one focus. The leaders of our community are the churches and its pastors. I believe that the change takes place first. Entrepreneurship education now must be the priority. We are also focused on the global impact of our education and exposure because Africa and the influence of West Indian cultures are helping the exposure of the National Black Arts Festival here and the development of Africa, the continent.
Healthcare continues to be a influence due to June being Men’s Health Month a push to solve our health disparities and educate our men on real health issues.
The entertainment industry is growing Atlanta these days. All the movie studios, commercial production houses, major events and productions at the Fox and other venues showcases why Atlanta will soon proclaim itself to be the largest complex outside of LA and Hollywood. Keep up the good work Georgia because it brings lifestyle to a city that is growing in global and national popularity.
